Associate

Heather Phillips joined Harris, Finley & Bogle in 2021 and focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on construction disputes. She has represented individuals and businesses in contract disputes, construction defect and mechanic’s lien matters, oil and gas disputes, real property disputes, and complex business disputes, including work on a large, complex case in the Texas Business Court. Heather also advises clients on construction-related agreements and is expanding her practice to include drafting and reviewing construction contracts for projects of all sizes.

Heather has experience representing clients through all stages of litigation, from early case evaluation through trial. She works closely with clients to understand their goals and develop practical strategies for pursuing favorable outcomes in and out of the courtroom. Before joining HFB, Heather clerked for Magistrate Judge Jeffrey L. Cureton in the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Originally from San Diego, Heather now lives in Fort Worth, where she is proud to raise her three children.
