Cathy Zellers practices family law in the firm’s Weatherford office. Cathy joined the Harris Finley Bogle team in 2022 with over 35 years of experience in family law cases. A significant portion of her litigation experience has been devoted to child advocacy which she considers a privilege. Her undergraduate degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin and her teaching experience has been a major influence in her focus on children involved in the litigation paradigm. Since her 2006 training at the UT School of Law Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution, she has mediated family law matters and Cathy is also trained and experienced in collaborative family law practice.
Cathy is a lifelong Texan and Weatherford is her hometown since elementary school where she met her husband, Ed Zellers. She and Ed practiced together as law partners from 1984 until joining Harris Finley Bogle in 2022 and they have made many friendships in the legal community and beyond in their practice.
Cathy believes in giving back to the community and enjoys participating in service opportunities through her church and other local volunteer organizations. She loves music of many genres and a really fine cup of coffee. But her greatest joy is in her family and time with her children and grandchildren.
