Theresa L. Berend was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and History at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001 (magna cum laude) and her Juris Doctorate at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2004. Theresa served as Senior Articles Editor of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review (2003-04) and was a member of Delta Theta Phi International Legal Fraternity.

Theresa is actively involved in the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association (2006-09) and currently serves as President-Elect on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and an associate in the American Inn of Courts - Eldon B. Mahon Division. Theresa is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Women Attorneys Section of the Tarrant County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Texas at Arlington Alumni Association (2001-10) and currently serves as the Immediate Past President (2008-10). She also serves as the Secretary for the Texas Wesleyan Law Review Alumni Association Board of Directors (2005-09) and is a Director for the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law Alumni Association (2006-10).
