Jenkins Garrett has been a member of the Texas Bar since 1937. He is a graduate of the University of Texas (A.B., 1937; LL.B., 1937) and Harvard University (LL.M., 1939). He served as President of the Board of Trustees of Tarrant County Junior College District (1965-73) and was a member of the Board of Regents of the University of Texas (1969-75). He is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
